Sponsored and Managed by D.N.ROY MEMORIAL SANSTHA to develop Model English Medium School to be emulated. TheROY ACADEMY for Excellence was established in November 1996. Since its inception, the school witnessed phenomenal progress – from a mere 96 students and 6 faculty members during 1996 – 97. The school has around 850 students and over 22 faculty members. It has its own campus and buildings comprising of 34 rooms. Besides the three storied administration block and a spacious play – ground. The School was conceived not as a mere addition to the multitude of existing educational institution. Essentially, it was intened to be a catalyst – to offer child – centered, values – based, technology – integrated, performing art – oriented, and communicative – interactive learning in an emotionally secure environment – to enable the children to discover themselves as also to provide them with opportunities to experience and enjoy the exciting childhood of learning and growing. Every child is born with a message for the society. Each child has everything within himself – energy in his body; light in his eyes, dream in his head, enthusiasm in his heart. Education has to help him to be Great and Equally Good; and to be a Winner – not only in classroom examinations, but also in life. It has to be always remembered that his name is “Today” and not “Tomorrow”.

At micro level, the School envisions excellence in education to empower the learners to have direct access to the commonwealth of knowledge; develop living skills; and imbibe values for self – development, social cohesion, national integration, man – nature dualism, man – technology interface, and spiritual foundation. At macro level, the school embraces to be an Eco – School envisions progressives transformation of the contemporary technological society and civilisation into bionic society and civilisation to ensure socio – economic progress with peace, harmony, and self – identity; and sustained development without ecological apprehension.

For excellence in education as also in life, the School cherishes creative assimilation of human values, social values technological values, ecological values and spiritual values embedded on a broad canvass of non – violence to optimise material progress and human well – being with self – identity.

Presently, the School stands affiliated up to Secondary stage to the JAC (JHARKHAND ACADEMIC COUNCIL), Ranchi Earlier in August 2010.
